MY FUNNY ENCOUNTER AT COMPUTER VILLAG

Last year December after getting my end of the year salary with bonus, i rushed down to computer village to buy a phone. It has always been my dream to get a blackberry. i had budgetted 50,000 naira, on getting to Computer Village, i met this guy who said he could get me the latest bold 5 for just 48,000. As a Lagos guy i negotiated 45,000 which after some talking he later agreed. I tested the phone it worked perfectly, it was just the kind of perfect phone i was looking for. I counted 45,000, gave him the money. Which he didn't bother to count, he said i don't look like someone that would cheat, He said he needed to issue me a receipt because of "police wahala". I was so happy. He asked me for the phone to check the serial number, i gave it to him. After issuing the receipt. he offered to help me pack it so that "Area Boys" wont snatch it from me. he pakaged it and handed it over to me. With joy in my heart, i took the phone,smile and said thank you then left. Only to get to Ikeja under bridge unwrap my phone and i discover that it was just a casing stocked with "fufu". I felt like the ground should swallow me. I have been "scammed" i screamed. I went back but didn't see the guy. Ever since that day i only buy from Authorized Dealers.
